Uploading pics system has changed again

I see that the image upload has changed again. When I choose an image, it takes me to my gallery pics and from there I have to upload the image just like the old system. How do I add the extra free pics now? There is a photos more button but if I use that, won't it charge me for extra pics?

I've never been taken to 'my gallery' when uploading pics for a new listing.

Just put the url into the box and if you want more pictures, click on the 'more' button and it'll bring up more boxes. You'll only be taken to 'my gallery' if you click on 'choose photo'.

You'll only be charged for more photos if you use the option in the 'Extras' section.

When ebid added the 5 free pics option, I had the option to upload pics from my PC which was really fast for me - but that's gone now. I see 2 urls for pics on your image, but where are the thumbnails?

I am with you Jan, for a small period of time you could upload direct from PC and it was quicker than whats in place as I type.

It's back to photbucket for all my uploading again

Ah, I'd never used that option.

All you see are the urls because the pictures don't upload until you click 'preview'.

Sad to hear the load from PC has gone, that was really quick and useful.

Click the Choose Photo button then the Browse button to upload a picture or zip from your computer... Use the checkboxes on the right hand side to select up to 5 images.

The other way we were using we had to ditch due to changes made in IE8.

That is a real shame, it was so quick to do from PC

It is a fact of life that the majority of people do and a site has to allow for that fact.

It seems to behave different now though (unless it is because I have just switched to Firefox) as when you click Choose the my Gallery page opens in a pop-up rather than a new tab or window. Seems quicker.

Yes, that's how it is working for me now Mel. It's no biggy really, I just enjoyed the new way for the short time it was available
