    Cool Ladybird Books

I've some fairly old ladybird books eg 11a Mystery on the island, The Ladybird Key Words Reading Scheme, the price on the back is 15p. Do you think they would be worth listing? some are in sets. I've had a look at the ones that are listed but they seem to be more modern.

It won't cost you to list, so what's the harm

I'm sure I read somewhere recently that old Ladybird books are becoming quite collectable ?

Got to be worth a try...

The market seemed to have levelled out since the early days of online selling - most collectors had found what they need. I think though that, there is a new generation re-discovering these, and again they are becoming sought after.

Knowing the subtle differences between editions can make the difference between no sale and a good sale - I tried to take it all in on various websites, but it is a bit of a minefield.

I have a couple of collectable 'ladybirds' currently listed (the ITA one and the French 'Coccinelle' one), but there is some debate as to whether they are 'proper' ladybirds.

This is the best site ever for learning about Ladybird Books.

Yes they're very collectable, depending on what they are, I've sold some for what seem to me to be silly money, especially the condition they were in. Collectors will buy a rare book, and then replace it with a better book when another comes up for sale.
