Thread: Defaults

    Default Defaults

Would be nice when you edit defaults if you could aply them to items already listed.

And I'd like a time machine so I can go back and buy last week's lottery ticket.

Only some defaults would be applicable to being applied to all current listings.

I could see havoc reigning if every time you changed something in your My Defaults it blindly went away and changed every listing you had posted.

It doesn't change the text bits, just the signature. I think you need to be rather more specific in your suggestion of what you want altered.

Are you saying you want the prices changed? Postage? Categories?

I can't see it happening myself, it would be too complicated by far, but if you're going to ask you might as well be precise. What do you actually want it to do?

Oh, and I think I'll pass on the "used once ticket" thanks, you didn't mention what it was used for.

One of the other sites I list on, to sell my American postcards, has a facility where you can add text to descriptions en masse. It is quite useful really for adding a notice or something like that. Of course, you can't change individual listings like that - the addition is placed at the bottom of the page but it's a useful feature.

I could have done with that option last week - edited 350 prices individually!

Surely it would only help if everything you sell is the same price? Is that common?
