    Bingo! Well Said.

There seems to be a lot of new members from the US, people looking for a new home, and eBid needs to cater to this change also. We need categories to suit the US members needs, and our lifestyle. Some things are just different here, and to get people to stay when stopping by to check us out, we need to conform. We also need to remember to be tactful in our requests.
    LOL! tactful.
I would say some people are not. They just grab the bull the horns with requests after request and shove it our face, whether want it or not, or in some cases poll after poll after poll.

Seriously though, may I also add that a "best offer option", suddenly appearing now on the site could/would also make us look cheap and desperate. ..........Just my opinion, for what it's worth

I agree, why tarnish our "if you need it ebid will definitely have it" reputation, and our unrivalled abilty at pulling in not only sellers but buyers as well from every corner of the globe.

And we'll never stop until this site is on top!

EB@y became the king for being the greatest flea market, swap meet, bazaar, or what you will, and now they want to be an over priced "mall".

Where all the small may bid and buy, as long as it is from the big tall.

So let’s have eBid knock them down and take the crown.

Some may not like the style, but I hope the passion makes you smile:-)

Having thought about this for a couple of days....

I'm not really bothered about the issue, providing:-

    1) It was only an OPTION for sellers

    2) Buyers would not assume that EVERY seller was open to offers.

    3) There was (perhaps) a maximum number of offers allocated to any one buyer on any one item.

I personally would not use it with either hat on.
Why not take a quick look at my Stores?

Of course it would be just an option, and it is the sellers choice whether or not to use it for the listing.

It is the seller's property/listing they should absolutely set it up how they wish.

If a seller chooses to use it, and the offer is low they can counter or decline. Citing that they gotta eat. Most people would understand that, and if they don't just tell them to move all. And if they are getting randy & out of line blackball them.
