Thread: techie help please?

  1. #1

    Default techie help please?

I have just purchased a dell optiplex 755 with xp professional on it.
On my old pc I had windows ordinary XP and had dowloaded the IE explorer 7 to have the tabbed windows.
Anyhow, now downloaded and deleted explorer 7 twice because each time it's downloaded, the tabs are not there. Defaults back to standard explorer.
Anyone know what could be the problem please?
    thanks Dawn

Have you checked your tools > options > tab settings when in the apparently tabless IE7?

I don't know about *green* ticks, I just have a selection of text boxes on my options. But this is what mine looks like, and control/T produces a new tab, if that's any help. Sorry, I don't use IE except for testing code, so I'm not much help!

I have now deleted the blinking thing for the 3rd time. I am hoping someone might have an answer by time I decide to go ahead just once more
