And we would like to welcome USA to there first YDC

Now let's keep it clean any underhand tactics will be allowed when bidding

The listing period for YDC63 is from 6.00pm Friday 20th of February through to midnight Sunday 22nd of Febuary

USA
Between the time of 1.00pm Friday and 7.00pm on Sunday
(Washington DC time, as times vary between states please check the time differance and adjust accordingly)

Please read through all the rules below...

1) All items must have a start limit of 99p USA $ 1.42
or under

2) No item listed should have an expected value of more than £20.00 and for USA $ 28.71

3) Auction should have NO RESERVE and NO BIN

4) All auctions should run for 7 days only

5) You MUST put YDC63 in the auction title; the auction must be a standard auction

6) Your auction must be hosted on eBid. and it must NOT break eBids rules.

7) Please read above for the listing times

Even ONE MINUTE too early or too late will mean that your auction will NOT be accepted in YDC.

8) Your auction MUST be for charity (or a good cause) and you MUST add the following to your description:

This auction is an entry in YDC, money raised will go to.....(Add the name of the charity/good cause here )

9) You must not mislead the buyers. Please be truthful.

10) As Items are donated, please keep p&p at cost

11) You may list as many items as you wish

I'll be adding another box of lovely tat this time

I've started my own personal YDC tradition

At this time, I have two close relatives who are dying of cancer. One is age 59 and dying of lung cancer that has invaded his brain. It is very unfair because he was never a smoker. The other is an aunt, age 91, who has liver cancer and is expected to live only a few more days.

I am appealing to you who make those beautiful handmade cards to consider offering some appropriate for sending to people who are terminal. Maybe with nonreligious sentiments like "I'm thinking of you", "I value you" or just lovely graphics to try to give a bit of beauty to their day when they get the card. I am afraid most of us will eventually know somebody to whom such cards would be given.
