Thumbs up What do you think is a fair price for a custom ebid shop logo?

I will probablly be selling custom designed ebid shop logos on here within the next few days. Before i create a listing im interested in what people think a fair price to charge would be. (Im good at design so assume the logo would look brill see examples at my auction at http://uk.ten.ebid.net/perl/auction.cgi/14235064 ), what would you think would be a fair price?

Also first few people to reply who have a shop can have a free one designed!! (these will be shown as examples on my listing)

simply put "logo me" next to your suggested price if you want one free.

    Jon

Very simple idea - but so simple that almost anyone can make what they want these days!
    I wouldn't pay!

anyone can make a logo and banner, true, not anyone can create a good looking one. Ive seen many on here that have used free generators etc and although the people that have made them are prowd of what they have acheived (and rightly so), they do look a little 'tacky'.

One of the major attractions of this site are the very low fees, and general expenditure. There is also far less traffic to this site, than there is to e**y, so consequently sales are possibly fewer and slower for a lot of people.
As mentioned before, there are a number of people offering this service already either very cheaply or free. You could have the glitziest logo in town, but not much point, if there's nobody to see it

    Hi Jon -
Your logos are lovely. There may well be a market for those people who would like something quite professional looking and who do not frequent the forums (where you normally find the offers of free banners, etc.).
What would you think of a starting price of £10.00 in an auction format and see what happens? Perhaps let the market set you BIN price?
If you are still offering a free banner, I'd love one for my Antiques Shop! (logo me).

Its not an insult, more advice. If your company header is poor quality what impression does that give your customers? maybe your items are tacky? customer service is poor etc. Sounds daft but little things can make a difference and on ebid every little helps. Ive always been straight with what i say and if it offends anyone im sorry but i see no point in lying or twisting the truth.
