    I have some knives that I was going to put on my shop. They are household peeling knives how do I try and protect my self that the person purchasing the knife is 18 or over or at least show that I have tried to prove that they are over 18. Any Ideas

    I don't know if anyone's noticed but the pictures in that thread with regards to knifes are similar to kitchen knifes used by chefs.

    There is absolutely NO way to guarantee that buyers are in fact over 18.

    If there were - then it would simply be easy to use the existing laws regarding purchase of knives ( as in a shop)I think Gothicina has the right idea - restrict the category to the areas where it is legal to buy such items freely.
