Thumbs up 'evilbay' designer now moving to ebid.net

Ive never been so glad to leave the evil 'e' company. Ive been using evilbay for over 7 years now. I do website design for a living and have designed many evilbay templates, which in turn will have helped sell many more items and in turn helped feebay make more money.

anyhow yesterday my flatmate asked if they could use my paypal account to pay for an evilbay item as she had no money left in her bank. I did and thought nothing else about it.

UNTIL, 4 hours later my account is blocked! Turns out my flatmate has 2 accounts with evilbay and one of them was suspended for not paying their massive £1.24 debt! Since i let her use my paypal account through her evilbay they have decided i shoudl be banned to!!

I contacted the evil company and explained why i shouldn't be banned but all they could say was "we value you as a customer (HA!) but you have simular account information as the banned user" then they go on to say how they think i own all three accounts and must pay the fees owed by all three!!

I then explained how the other accounts are owned by my flatmate so we will both have the same house address + phone number.

Again they replied saying in short, we dont belive you!

Thus i have no way to activate my account unless i pay someone elses fees!!! How crazy is this!

Anyhow this is turning into a rant but what I originally logged on to say was thank you ebid. A site that charges realistic prices and actually seems to care about its users.

The ironic thing is ebay have done the following
    1) lost out on my fees, ill be dammed if im paying them now!
    2) lost a ebay listing designer (im now a ebid designer )

I have also informed all my clients about ebid and many of them will be moving over to here (supprising how many didnt know about this place)

anyhow thanks again ebid your a breath of fresh air and if anyone wants some template desiging doing contact me

    Jonathan

Welcome to eBid.net hope you stay around and I too liked your website, very professional looking. I have made several websites for my family but it is the SEO that lets me down, it's very hard to do and they keep moving the goal posts too ..lol

lol i know tell me about it. Yahoo and the others are easy but google, thats some genious search engine.I had a client who i had got on the first page for the keyword "designer Lingerie". took me 5 months of SEO work. They were 9th out of many many million.

Then they read on a silly website how you can hide keywords in a site, black keywords on a black background!! needless to say google found out and penalised the site. within 1 week their PR 4 went to 0 and they were no where to be seen on google for designer lingerie. I nearly cried lol

Was still on first page on yahoo and ask lol

Just goes to show how advanced google is compared to the others.
