    Mmm... but my template centring doesn't work at all now! Oh well, at least if it starts the way it means to go on, I should be able to find a version that starts working and *stays* that way!

    That seems to be sorted. Can it really be over? Everybody cross everything!

    Nope it's not over, but I'm not going to worry about it tonight. Often I use list similar and just go over what was there. Last book I just relisted has more than one text size when looking at the HTML editor when before it was fine so Ihad to delete the extras. I hate HTML

    I've just closed the 3 test auctions. I will try & repost them, from scratch, later & record everything again in case of problems.

    We could really do with somewhere to post test auctions, for when there are problems like this, I always worry somebody will bid on one.

    (my emphasis)

    I'll second that. And I think Trina will agree, she was so worried about people bidding she put £100 + £100 P&P on her auction - at that price presumably she'd have taken the money and lived with the annoyance.

    Gothicina.

    A good idea we could do with somewhere we can test our listings.

    No one will bid on mine.
    I put 3 test auctions on Golly, Bertie, Jack.
    I stuck test auction do not bid on them, £100 starting price with £100 postage.
    That should be enough to put anyone off, just hope it does not put a buyer off my other listings though.

    IE7 is looking good at the moment.
    F/F is still misaligned.

    Drat, I was hoping that problem would have been fixed as well, maybe I shouldn't have closed them after all. I'll ponder while I'm at work.
    Is Firefox mis aligned for your old listings, or have you tried it with a new one?

    Trina before you nag, I got 3 hours sleep this afternoon.

    Default I think you've got it (well almost)

    Reposted the Golly Auction from scratch, the differences were not visual enough to worry about so I did not send in a swf file this time, & I pulled the listing.

    The main problem now is, it has removed the alignment, from the containing div. Which is affecting the alignment of the template on the page.

    Code:
    <div align="center">
    is being replaced by
    Code:
    <div>
    That is probably why OnlyTheVeryBest is now having trouble with some of her templates,,
    & I'm sure I'll hear from some others too.

    The 3 three other things I've noticed only seem to be minor
    • it's changing the order that the atributes are listed. & adding border="0" when a border is set in the style tag, (So far the browsers are still displaying the borders)

    Code:

    <table style="width:98%;background-color: #FFD673; border:solid 3px #194D9E;">
    has been changed to
    Code:

    <table style="width: 98%;background-color: #ffd673; border: #194d9e 3px solid;" border="0">
    it has removed the single quotes from the first background image, again the browsers seem ok with this..
    Code:
    <table  style="border-collapse: collapse; width:93%;background-color:#ffffff;
    background-image:url('http://www.gothicina.co.uk/host/golly/gstripe2.gif');">
    has become
    Code:
    <table style="background-image: url(http://www.gothicina.co.uk/host/golly/gstripe2.gif); width: 93%; border-collapse: collapse;
    background-color: #ffffff;" border="0">
    • The last one is really trivial

    It has changed from the hexadecimal code
    Code:
    & # 169;
    to
    Code:
    &copy;
    for the copyright symbol.

    I've just tried doubling up the div align center, so there are two div containers, but it's still stripping out the alignment. So that still needs fixing please.
    If I use plain <center> around the whole template that is stripped out too.
    <div style="text-align:center;"> messes up everything

    Hi Gothicina.

    I have never got as far as doing a listing with F/F as the template always shows as misaligned, immediately when I call the template up..
    Should I try doing a listing & see if the template centres before sending the listing live.
