Picture entitled ''Pins'Needles''. Grandma made this outfit using tape measures for the skirt, silver card for the thimble & scissors on my head, cotton reels & bits and bobs hanging from my waist and the word 'Pins' etched across my front in White cotton. I won 1st prize in this! Can I do it again? I leave it to you Gazza & Mark!!

This is the earliest/only photo I have of me. I was born on Coronation Day In Brighton,Sussex and it seems that all school children were given a day off in my honour!!


I must have been about two and a half to three years old in this photo as it was taken in Nigeria - where my father who was an engineer was working installing and maintaining water systems near Lagos. As it was so warm there I am wearing very little but a baby chicken and the obligatory ribbon in my hair!!
