Thread: How do I contact a prospective buyer

  1. #1

Question How do I contact a prospective buyer

Someone asked a question on one of my auctions the other day and as I didn't have an instant answer, I sent a message saying I would get back to her. Now, of course, I can't answer her question.

She's a zero feedback new member with nothing listed for sale so there seems to be no way to contact her.

    Anyone any ideas???

You could PM her if you know her identity. single click her name, click send message in dropdown

Why not add to description? or

have you still got the email for the question, if so and you click on the link in the email, I think that you get the chance to reply again.

    Sadly I deleted the email.

There's no way to contact her on her member page, if I pm her through the forums will she get notice of a message?

I think I might add something to the listing and hope she sees it, probably simplest.

I've found you can double answer a question.

If you go to ask a question on your own auction, you get an error message which sends you to answering the last question you answered on that auction. It's really cack handed and a seriously stupid way of doing things, but it seems to work.

That's brilliant. Must add it to the FAQ, thanks!
