Yes. I am particularly struggling with Squidoo, hence why all my lenses are so dull! I just can't seem to get any oomph to go and do anything there.
This, I feel, is so true we all need to be out and about on the internet so to speak. spreading the word and sowing our seed (ooo eerr could be taken the wrong way)The more leads we put out, some of them are bound to take root somewhere.

That could be couldn't it Oh well, I'll just turn my deaf ear - being a woman I've had plenty of practice at that one.
Just to let you know to (from Flickr) I've sorted a MySpace 'blog??' (is that the right word?). I've added a link to it in the Flickr thread. I've also added my squidoo lenses to it. Can't think where else for the time being.
Oh, by the way - that book you use there as you avvy - the one by John Seymore on Self Sufficiency - thats a good book. Perfect for simple living. I've got one here somewhere that I bought donkeys years ago. Bought it new and paid nearly £30 for it then.
Thanks for all the comments, books. My pictures from Brussels have been invited to a group which is always good. I've also added some of my Wedgwood items to a Wedgwood group. If we keep spreading ourselves round Flickr, ebid will get noticed.

Thanks, likewise.
All activity helps. I am sure you know already, but for others reading this, when someone puts a keyword into Flickr, depending on their account setup, pictures with more activity are returned at the top of their search. If they choose to look at the image, that is more exposure for ebid.
So if you have a Flickr account, spend a little time daily, favouriting other ebid related photos, leaving comments, adding to group discussions and joining groups and posting your photos to those groups.
Five minutes everyday makes a difference.

It's an absolutely HUGE photo site. You upload your photos, tag them, give them titles and comments and then add them to groups. Anyone can set up a group. There are three for ebid that I know of. Ideally, one should stick up photos that are nothing to do with ebid as well so you attract in other people.
The site is a great timewaster but fun as well as a useful promotional tool. For example, I was doing some family history. I found a note from a long dead great-aunt saying that an ancestor had paid for a monument to be put up in the Peak district. A quick search on Flickr and I don't have to go there to see it. I messaged the owner of the picture and now have permission to use it (as opposed to just right clicking and stealing it, which is what most of us do most of the time!).
