Picture gallery working?

Trying to update an auction and when I put the URL of the picture in and click save changes, I get
"There seems to be a problem with your image, either the image you are trying to use does not exist (try pasting the image url into your browser to check) or you have opted for a featured auction that requires an image and you have not submitted one."

I did try it in my URL and it came up just fine. Cannot get the auction to take the picture. Any suggestions?

Check the image type is .gif or .jpg

Check the image size. I think there is a limit but can't find the reference. Anything over 500 pixels high or wide is sized down anyway.

Check you are not putting the http:// part in twice. eBid tends to prefill that part in dialogs and people often miss it and tag a full URL onto the end of it.
