    Default Clothing sizes option

Hello, just found this site today and when shopping for tshirts, jeans, etc it is so much easier if the auctions are presorted into different sizes than it is if you have to use a search for specific sizes.

Hi tinkfanatic a very warm welcome to eBid. Pleased you have found us!

I would tend to agree with you there. I don't sell clothes but I'm sure some of the regular UK clothes sellers will be along in the morning to add their two pennyworth to this thread!

I always put the size into the title when listing and I also search by size. I find that is the easiest

I agree, it would make things much easier, also the same should be done for shoes. I had intended buying a pair of training shoes on here some time ago, but gave up when I found I would have to manually check 300+ listings.

I agree. What are these clothing categories by age? This is not how we size clothes in the USA. Categories should be Child, Junior, Women S, M, L, or actual sizes 9/10, etc. Not ages, this makes no sense. My teenage daughter can wear a shirt that an 8 year old could wear (Junior small). I think I'll post this in the New Category Suggestions Forum.

OK, change the US ebid site to sizes please, because ages make no sense here. Thank you.

I requested womens clothing at least be categoriesd by size instead of item type a while back, also that equivalent sizes as in America & EU be included

Unfortunately it would mean the Guys would have to do a total restructure, which Gazza said they'd prefer not to do.

It might be worth trying again, if enough asked for this, & somebody had the time to sort out the sizes & equivalents to post ready.

And there was me thinking how much easier it would be if the children's clothes were just garment type cats, and not sizes at all. It just means the size must be in the title to be found if someone searches fo a particular size. Or have I got it wrong? I always add size to my search
