Any further developements to the Auction Description Editor problem?
Mine still doesn't work and the little Yellow triangle is still there which appears to be something to do with Javascript. I've just downloaded the latest version of Javascript but the triangle is still visible but only when the WYSIWRG is set to Advanced or Simple.
When I set it to Plain HTML it will let me write but I'll have to edit out all the rubbish *#ffffs##%./ which TBH is going to take me hours and even then I don't know if I will be able to 'sell similar' at the end of it. Also don't know if I can add pics or links either.
I will give it a go as have nothing else to do

description box will not accept any writing, whether html mode, or either of the wysiwyg options. It will not accept pasting either.
I have cleared my cache, restarted.
I have tried Populate...no description populates

discontinued Firefox years ago because of incompatibily problems at that time.
Unable to send an email to support, link is not active under the HELP tab, which says we can contact you after we have tried posting in forums if we think it is a general problem.
Some of this information I have already posted. Do you suggest waiting a day or so to try again or do you have a work-around you suggest?

TBH I haven't attempted to try and list as I said I would in my earlier post today. I don't want to be disappointed by starting and then not being able to finish because something along the line won't work. There must be a pretty major issue involved for this to be continuing for so long. I think all we can do is wait for an announcement of some kind. Gazza posted a message earlier about intermittent problems with hardware ( or something like that ).
I don't have enough technical knowledge to suggest work-arounds I'm afraid. Sorry. It has to be simple for me to understand it
I'm confident a solution will soon be found and this is still a great site. Even with the current problems, nothing would tempt me back to 'the other side' now!! I love it here!!

Have you tried clicking the contact us tab, even if it doesn't look active?
It should give you the Contact Us Page, with a link in it,Click here to open a support ticket you need to fill in the form at the bottom of the page.
Alternatively you can contact support by email using support@ebid.tv or support@ebid.net
Last time there were problems like this, Gazza asked people affected to check out the following test webpage, using the browser that had the problem, & post their results. http://www.ebid.net/useragent.php
Might be worth a try helping him narrow down the culprit.

If you edit out all the "rubbish" you see in the plain HTML editor, you will lose all of your formatting, it's the "rubbish" otherwise known as HTML that makes it work.
