Default It's that time of Year again.

    Having just staggered in,From Newcastle
Where the Christmas Lights Are being switched on by
the Hairy Bikers?,I also notice one of my Facebook
friends, who lives in Canada, Is having a small Christmas
light switch on party, at her house tonight. So it all begs
the question, when is the best time to turn the Outside lights on
Or would you sooner, eat Turkey all year round that, show a bit
    of festive spirit?
I am of the opinion Stick em up on Christmas Eve & Take em down on Boxing Day.However Mrs Ratlin, who should always be Obeyed, thinks that we should lower the tone of the neighbourhood from this Week-end. And not take em down on the 12th Night. So fellow ebiders what is your opinion.

    Ratlin.

I put them up as early as I can get away with and take them down as late as I can get away with (usually a total of about 2 months)

Indoor and outdoor decs usually go up on the weekend before Christmas day - my kids come over and help me cos i can't manage them by myself!.
If I can't get the outdoor ones down by 12th night, they stay switched off.

I usually put the decs up when I start to get that Christmas feeling...

No wait a minute I just made that up....

I usually suggest putting the decs up early december, then let others get on with it.
