Pimpage & Promotion...?

Does anybody know where you go to promote your online booksale?I have just started listing books here on Ebid recently and am wondering where do people go to pimp their links?If you can get them to work?
Yell,citylinks,myspace...?
Has to be free of course...

Mine are in my sig here, my email signatures too, on my own web site, and on sites run by other ebidders whenever appropriate. I too would be happy to hear any other suggestions!

Suggestion to both: Don't know whether there are avid book-reader websites out there with free forums that you could join?
I use that principle for selling my Roxette Collection - go on to several fan based websites, join the forums and post the links away!

As Blossom Tree has said,any forum that you belong to usually allows a signature.I always use my eBid one.I would also advise using the same avatar & username too on all sites.This then gives a consistency to your selling id that can be checked via google.

Also Flickr, You Tube - both have eBid groups - and any other sites you use to sell (add an insert or gift with your eBid information to any buyers). Check out the Promoting eBid threads on this forum for other groups you can join.

Ah, "pimpage" lol. Love that word. Will have to use that now in as many conversations as possible.
