Default Antique & Collectables Bought from CAr Boots?

Well I tend to scour the car boots and flea markets for antiques & collectables and from time to time, you come across something which catches your eye at a very low price.

    LAst week I got this:

This lovely italian little figure is really well crafted, the hair is seperate from the head, and even the little toes are individual rather than moulded
A lady turned it down at £1.50 (jeez some people), so I snapped it up and just shook my head at the woman

I thought it actually dated to around the 50's but after taking it be vauled it actually dates to the 70's, and i was informed it was lovely little piece and had an estimate of £40 - £80 put on it

ANyone else recently grabbed somenice little pieces that they have been proud of...........car boots, fairs, markets? etc

I paid $1.00 for a box said to contain old books at an auction in southern Indiana. Later found that it contained quite a lot of old sheet music, song books, press release photos and vintage text books and the like dating as far back as the 1920's on up to 1956. Even had an ad to win a date with an up and coming singer named Elvis from August of 1956. So far I've made about $450 from that purchase and still have quite a bit left to sell.
