I am only asking that *invoices* be editable, in the case calculated shipping is wrong.. or the buyer wants special packaging that makes the shipment heavier, increasing the shipping cost... Seller cannot edit this after the fact, and NEEDS to be able to.

Ideal, you are so right. There needs to be a line to add insurance, ability to adjust the shipping charge, etc. We are so used to feebay's streamlined, simple to use invoices, that we thought it should have already been implemented here, along with showing number of bids and high bid amount in the search results.

Is anything being done to make combining auctions on an invoice any easier?

Now I know what others are talking about. My first combined invoices were auctions with one kind of shipping [first class].

Then I sold two items that had different kinds of shipping [one had first class, one had parcel & priority]. I gave up after a while and just did an invoice on my own and sent it to the buyer.

Please work on the invoicing system. Thanks.
