I've placed one tiny little bid. Must go and raid the cupboards in the morning to see what I can come up with - been so busy the last few weeks, that I'm totally unorganized. Hope I can find some chocklit somewhere
At least that way Shezz, Meebo and some others will make it worth my while!

There seems to be quite a lot of dirty tricks afoot on the YDC.

I'm gonna have to get down and dirty pmsl

Can you wait a bit for that rolling pin Meebo? I am going out, but won't be back in the UK until January. Would be happen to bring it home for you.

Don't worry Gramma has magically appeared in the right place now. She must have sorted out her double listings!

Too right! He goes out playing sport with all the younger teachers at his school and then comes home groaning about the next injury!

It feels really weird not having them + their gang of mates around the place. Although a holiday in October just the 2 of us was really great!
I'm not counting my chickens (I'll leave that to Quad!) Think my oldest son will still be entrenched on my sofa when he's fifty!

Meebo ask Gramma if there is a cheaper postage rate. She didn't realise that she had such a high priority postage rate showing when I bid on her figurine in the last YDC and she managed to reduce it quite a bit for me. Maybe the same thing has happened - worth asking her.

That's about right for Parcel Post.. not sure why the $2 handling unless it is to cover the (very expensive) boxes and packing supplies you can buy from Post Office or Office Depot, but that is the correct rate for Parcel Post. Priority Mail is a bit more expensive, but for stuff you cant ship Media Mail, Parcel Post is pretty much the cheapest option there is...

That's USPS shipping rates for you. Ive looked again at trying to find the best, cheapest shipping methods that could be reliable at usps.com website for international shipping.. I just dont see any way most of my stuff could really ship at an affordable rate to anywhere but WITHIN the USA. Almost seems like they dont WANT U.S. Citizens shipping stuff to other countries.. it's so expensive..

(By the way... I would recommend anyone that wants to get boxes and packing materials for shipping go instead to the company I buy from- uline.com - they will sell to smaller businesses, and it is MUCH cheaper.. Example: ReadyPost box from USPS: $1.49 Same (plain brown cardboard) Box size from Uline: 45 cents )
