I can't find a page on note anywhere saying what the R means and it doens't disappear or change color or anything when a bid is placed..... and I do not have reserves yet they are on every one of my auctions!!! JUST GET RID OF THEM!! Or like Meebo says change it to indicate there is a bid and have it appear ONLY AFTER THERE IS A BID in a solid NON-FLASHING MODE. Use glow if you want emaphsis.....I'd love to see a glowing B on my auction if it has a bid!
I thought the r meant that there was a reserve on the auction??

Hmmmm... that is why it should disappear, misleading and annoying.

    Thumbs down

Obviously it's confusing and shouldn't be there.

Glad to see you here on this thread - I voted on your poll for showing the bids on listings & started this one because so many peeps seemed to be troubled by those pesky little r's !!!

I'm glad people are learning how to use polls to get their point across. It gets comments going and a good discussion out in the open. I also weighed in on your other thread and thank you for visiting the one I started and for voting too. I of course voted to get rid of this ridiculous and confusing feature. Hopefully this blinking red r will get removed ASAP and they will have the wisdom to start showing bids too.
