should I take-up the lifetime membership offer?

Hi, I've just joined ebid as the dreaded *bay is about to raise its fees which will crucify many sellers. Just need some reassurance that it's worth taking the lifetime membership that's currently on offer as I don't know how soon that will end; I don't want to miss out on what sounds like a good deal. I sell mainly books and comics. Just wondering if I should take the plunge. Thanks, aniseedlines.

There are 184 book stores and 15 comic book stores selling in the U.K. on ebid. The way I see it there is always room for a few more...
Get your feet wet by jumping in and be patient.

I would recommend it. As the site grows, I'm sure the 1/2 price membership offer will end. Our average daily number of new members has doubled in the last month alone.
But most important, you have the chance to open free stores (five of them), automatic invoices, free listings or 2% FVF if you use gallery, and you will have that forever. So even if you start slowly, it's always available to you.
I made the fee back in my first month on here.

I am not rying to put a dampener on it. I did eventually become a lifetime member and am NO WHERE near making it back yet. On my list of things to do is more listings when I get the momentum.

On a brighter note I applied for and now have got the T-shirt.
