Speed Problems

Whole site was down again from 12.03 to 12.14.

(Why does this always happen just around midday?)

Everything else on IE coming in as normal.

It happens about every other day at about 12 midday - very strange, and no other site is unavailable or even slower than normal. - I decided to time it today!

Maybe its eBids server downtime or just when Gazza and Mark heave themselves out of bed and start work? If theres a huge pull on resources because of a common cause, that would cause it to be noticable at the same time daily

I've only just got back indoors and logged on so not seen any problems. ( yet )

I don't know about today as I was out, but the last couple of days its come 'dogdy around mid-day, and later in the afternoon too. Not sure of times, didn't think to check.

But, it went funny again today around 1530 hrs. Everything else was fine.

When it goes funny, it ss very slow in changing pages and possibly gets timed out as I get 'page cannot be displayed'.

I'm in Swansea, South Wales, using Virgin Broadband (Ntl)

That may be, but its what we've got. It works on everyother web site without problem even when e.Bid goes 'dodgy'.

I'm with Virgin BB - but it's NOT that - I can navigate to anywhere else while eBid is down!

BTW - I have no complaints about Virgin - they serve me very well!
