I have transferred all the names from the previous thread into this new one. This is taking a bit of time to get back up and running, so please let me know if your name has been missed or if there are any names there that are no longer participating.

Also, I'd appreciate some feedback on where each person's link should lead. Owing to the various distance selling rules, I think it's easiest to point ant free promotional links at sellers' ABOUT page as this contains links to all their items and then there is no risk of bidders buying without being aware of sellers terms and conditions. The other alternative is a link directly to sellers' auctions, as opposed to individual stores. Some people preferred not to have the store lnks added as there are sellers who don't have stores. What does anyone else think?

As soon as all the links are gathered up, I'll get them added onto a separate page where, like before, anyone can copy the details for their own web site links pages.

    Hi Nykmedia:

I want my "About the Seller Page" to be my link, because it shows both stores & all auctions, etc. Question: Should I update my About Seller Page with September feedback or just include through August?

    You Can Use This:
    http://us.nine.ebid.net/perl/normal....heir-all-about

How do you change the standard link into clickable words like gramma1111 has?

Correct. The A/V icon has been missing since I switched credit cards. I realize now that I didn't have to switch in order to use a different card to pay the seller+ lifetime fee, but I didn't realize it at the time. C'est la vie.

    Hi WindsorBear:
Where did you get that cool clickable banner? Did you get it from the tag thread or did you do it yourself?

I used instructions from eBid seller JewelEffects on using the BannerFans site to create banners. I used a bearflag image I have for the background image.

Here is the link to the instructions from JewelEffects. There are really very good.

After creating the banner, and downloading it to your hard drive, you can use it in your signature, and hyperlink it to where you want to go... be it your eBid "About Me" page, your auctions, one of your stores, etc.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for clarifying that for me bear

Not that I would know where to look to see if I was A/V'd or not anyway, but at least the thread posts now make sense!!
