How are all you guys doing? Are you finding the 'credit crunch' is having any adverse effect on bids and sales? Personally, I'm a little disappointed with things the way they are, especially approaching the final quarter of the year.

Maybe bargain hunting has fallen in line with other hunting and there's a special season dedicated to the memory of it... anyone know when that would be?

I havant done to bad so far this month mainly with regulars stocking up for the hoped for Christmas sales.
Plus ive sold well on Ebid with regulars and new members.
But have to say my feebay sales are down on last year by about 30%.

Good morning all, I am in the process of setting up web site, if I can figure out how to do it. lol I am in hopes of decorating my stores for
Christmas aboutthe 15th of October as Christmas Club Checks come out the following week. So I am going to host a positive attitude.

Hi Meebo, are you finding you need to search a lot more thoroughly in order to find the best bargains? I'm still spotting a few, but buying has been curbed to what's needed rather than what's wanted. I think my Christmas shopping will be affected this year as I don't want to waste money buying things that people won't make good use of. I wonder if everyone else really is in the same boat?

I wonder if Damien Hirst would consider auctioning a piece of his artwork on here? I'm sure someone in the family could find a use for a stuffed creature in a glass box.

I think there is a general slowdown in the economy and eBid is not operating in isolation to the recent events in the finance world. People are obviously nervous about their future and that is when they hold off buying until their confidence in the future is re-established. Money gets spent on essentials, the luxury or non-essential items are deferred for another day.

No problem with sales here, I just need to find more stuff to keep buyers happy.

I have found getting people to leave feedback hard though, it's not that they don't like my stuff. I get plenty of mail to say that items have arrived and everything is OK but I have to send out feedback requests even to my regular buyers.
