Thread: Front page on google

  1. #1

    Default Front page on google

Was minding my own buisness as usual when looking for something on google,
To my surprise there was one of my items on front page and not one of my competitors in sight who spend a fortune on add words.
    Well done EBID.

I am no expert but it looks to me that it has'nt been this low? (23.93 on Sept 02 2008 ) since 2003?!*! 5yrs ago when it was on the way up. Now it appears to be on the way down and fast.

21.92 today. I cant wait to watch it die a painful death! But it is always a pity to see peoples jobs being lost:

However the word 'deteriorating' I am finding particularly satisfying! lol!

Have just read this piece . They really are in a mess, aren't they; but I do agree about the people losing their jobs. I liked the passage: ".... eBay could not immediately be reached for comment". Now there's a surprise!

I don't think this is a mess - I think this was the plan all along with the last shake-up in the boardroom. Cut costs by driving out the small to medium sellers, and focus admin on the big/medium and big sellers. Once the small sellers have obligingly left, they can add rewards to keep the biggies, and cut the biggest cost in any company - the staff.

The new eBay rules seem to be designed to drive out low-volume sellers.
They even provided a "calculator" to show me how much better off I'd be if I increased my volume. (oo-err, missus, behave..)
I moved to eBid instead, as did a lot of others. (Check the newbies section..)
