If you join EBID.NET you too can really feel you are your own boss. No petty soul destroying rules just sensible ones to protect everyone not just the buyers as it is on ebay.
You also get the chance to find all those quirky items that ebay started with, but has since done everything it can to destroy.
The forums are friendly and very helpful.
Okay the traffic is not as high as ebay (yet) but is heading the right way ^^^.
All in all a very pleasant experience. Try it yourself for FREE.
