    PRAYER REQUESTS/ UPDATES/ PRAISE REPORTS

    A PRAISE

Praise God for giving us his greatest gift, Jesus Christ!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. [Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV]

1/04/2021 Ropegg - Condolences to Ropegg's sister and family on the loss of her sister's husband to Covid-19. (See posts 1800, 1804 & 1807)

7/5/2021 Burgyeb - India Update on Covid-19 status. India continues to need prayer as the second wave of the pandemic is raging. The problems of Covid-19 daily infection levels, insufficient amounts of vaccine to immunize entire adult population, inequities in free distribution of vaccine, and need to comprehensively prepare for a third wave of the pandemic expected to occur by September of 2021, are among the many challenges that face the Nation of India.

On a brighter note the pandemic has resulted in some positive situations in India. A few of these include vaccination levels in India having surpassed those reportedly in the USA. Community groups have stepped up to provide their impacted people with access to oxygen, treatment, food and needed supplies. An Indian doctor reportedly invented a pocket sized ventilator that works on room air, that is battery operated, and reportedly raised oxygen saturation levels of Covid-19 sufferers from 85 to 92 to 98 within 3 minutes. [Note: I plan to seek additional confirmation on this report]. If substantiated, this could make a substantial contribution to Covid-19 treatment in India and other parts of the world.

8/23/2021 The USA FDA has granted full approval for the Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccine, for ages 16 and up. Hopefully this will encourage more people to take the vaccine. The vaccine will be marketed with new name of Comirnaty. What a name.

Burgyeb, thank you for posting this prayer and praise report and I do thank God for the blessing I have had of being protected from the Covid-19. Several members of my family have had it and I was exposed before I realized they had a problem and so far God has protected me greatly. Except for the death of my brother-in-law, my families Covid-19 attacks have been minor.

I am praying the others around the world are protected and blessed and that includes India. God is still in control and I am thankful I can count on Him being my protector and comfort at all times.

I am special praying for our eBid friends and families that God can give them a blessing from our eBid family.

    Blessings filled with Gods love,

You are welcome Ropegg. Thank you for update on your family and that they continued to remain with a mild response to Covid-19. We serve a faithful and awesome God, who covers and protects us even when we are not aware of danger. Your thankful praise of God reminds me of His redemptive names. You acknowledged that God protected you greatly; He is Jehovah - Nissi, the Lord our banner, a banner of love and protection, a covering or canopy (Exodus 17:15).

You also acknowledged Him as your comforter, who is with you at all times. He is the Lord our Shepherd (Jehovah -Rohi) who leads, loves, and keeps us in safety (Psalm 23). He is Jehovah - Shammah, the Lord who is with us where ever we are (Ezekial 48:35).

Access to the power of the Name of God is a benefit or gift to believers and followers of the Lord.

I will also join you in prayer for the eBid community and their families. Thank you for such an encouraging post.

The Name of God is listed in the singular tense. There are a multitude of names and titles that are used in the Bible to demonstrate God's nature, character, and works. There are Fundamental names of God. These would include Elohim (God the Onipotent Creator); Jehovah (God as the self-existent Lord who reveals Himself); and Adonai (God as Master and Head).

There are at least seven or eight Redemptive Names of God:

    1) Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord our provider) [Genesis 22:24]

    2) Jehovah-Nissi (The Lord our banner); (banner of love and protection); (canopy, covering) [Exodus 17:15]

    3) Jehovah-Shalom (The Lord our peace) [Judges 6:2]

    4) Jehovah-Tsid-kenu (The Lord our righteousness) [Jeremiah 33:16, Jeremiah 23:6]

    5) Jehovah-Shammah (The Lord who is with us everywhere; omnipresent) [Ezekiel 48:35; Isaiah 60:19-20, Revelation 21:3]

    6) Jehovah-SaBaoth (The Lord of Host; our protector) [Psalm 46:7]

    7) Jehovah Rohi/Jehovah Raah (The Lord our Shepherd; the Lord who leads, loves, and keeps us safe) [Psalm 23]

    8) Jehovah-Rapha (The Lord our Physician; the Lord our Healer) [Exodus 15:26]

There is one Name that seals every fundamental or redemptive name of God,and also all titles of God. It is Jesus (Yeshua); Jesus the Christ (the Anointed One and His Anointing [Colossians 1:15-20, Colossians 2:9]

Just received this from my Church

    Hi,

We have been praying for Sharon (Elena's Mum) over the past couple of months and earlier this week she found out that her lung cancer is now completely gone. This is real answer to prayer to which we praise God.

What does it mean to be a prayer warrior?

I started my search for the meaning in several traditional dictionaries. The two concepts were not defined together, so I looked at each concept separately. Found the most comprehensive description in Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary, Unabridged, Second Edition, copyright 1970.

Prayer is described as "an earnest request; entreaty; supplication". "A humble entreaty addressed to God". "In some religions, a devotional service consisting chiefly of prayers". (Webster's, 1970)

Prayer is talking or communicating with God. Prayer is fellowship or communion with God.

A warrior is "a man experienced or engaged in warfare; a fighting man"; "a warrioress is a woman warrior". (Webster's, 1970)

The battleground for the prayer warrior or prayer warrioress is in the spiritual realm. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)
