Image Templates & Hosting

I'm new to eBid and have a question about templates and image hosting. On my eBay store, which I just closed, I used SellerSourceBook for their auction templates and image hosting. On SS, I selected a template, wrote my description in HTML and then added up to 10 photos. SS generated the code which I then pasted into my listing on Turbo Lister. From TL I uploaded it to eBay. This way I only paid for one Gallery Picture on ebay and the rest were free because ebay wasn't hosting them.

Can I still use Sellersource for eBid? And if I can, what's the process? Are there other sites with templates and image hosting e.g. Auctiva that I can use with eBid?

I'm not familiar with SS but it sounds as though you should just be able to switch location at the "paste into TL" step... in your add an auction screen on ebid, make sure you have selected the "html editor" view, then you should be able to paste your html in as you always have.

I'm a techie numpty lol, but I use auction templates & host my pics on Photobucket.com.
If you take a peep at the ebid car magnets in my signature, you can see the end result
My templates are custom made, but the principle is the same...I copy the html into an auction default then switch editors.

Yes, you definitely can, if you have SS generated code, just enter it in your description using the HTML editor. It's same like with Turbolister.

Could it be down to the width of screen available to it? ebid tends to display things in a restricted space in the centre of the screen, which can squash things a bit if it's hard-coded to expect more width.

Works fine for me. Are you sure you're using the html mode editor when listing? Above the description box it will say "You're using our Plain HTML Box editor to create your descriptions. Change editor below." You may have to change this in My Defaults and start a new listing with that default.
