Thread: Natural/Organic Bath, Body and Skin Care

Smile Natural/Organic Bath, Body and Skin Care

    Hi all,

As you maybe aware I have a retail outlet based in County Durham, we sell a massive range of bath, body and skin care products. At the moment we are going though a total revamp by changing lots of our products to meet with our customers needs and I would be grateful for your opinions etc on Natural and Organic products.

Do you currently use Natural or Organic Products?
Are you actually bothered about what you put on your skin or in your bath?
How much more would you be willing to pay for Natural and Organic products?
If you have a skin condition - do you find products thats don't have SLES/SLS in are better for you?

Thank you all and I look forward to your comments.

    Thumbs up

    Hello Penner,

As far as I'm concerned, the more natural / oraganic the better.

The organic choice in bath/beauty products is slowly getting bigger, but we still need more on the market. I don't have a skin condition but I do try to avoid products that contain SLSE/SLS's. I also avoid underarm deodorants that contain aluminium.

I already pay more for organic stuff.... I wish things were cheaper but I do appreciate that organic goods cost more to produce. In the case of food, the extra money you pay is totally worth it for the taste of the organically grown food.

I have been growing my own lavendar and hope to produce my oil lavendar essential oil soon (steam distilled method).

Right, I'm off to have a nosey in your shop too

Thanks ejean9 and ruthiewildchild for your views.

Yes I agree with you both. I am leaning towards organic products, especially hand made bath, body and skincare.

My Australian skincare has been a huge hit - think this is because the Australian's have such a good name for skincare etc.

I work really closely with an Aromatherapist and we are developing ranges without the SLES/SLS which have been quite popular. We have just finished a men's and teenage boys range with has been a hit. I didn't think men were bothered what they used on their skin but I have been proven wrong there.

Hope you both enjoyed looking around my shops and if you have any feedback it would be much appreciated.

Please keep an eye out for the men's products in store soon.

    Thanks
