Smile Hi from a newbie crafter

Hi there, Thought I would let you know I'm here!! Would love you to check out my knitwear, only just opened. will be adding to store weekly. Will be mainly selling hand knits have had to add a few bits to get store up and running. I have a problem with trying to work out postage for the U.S. Think it would help my sales if I could put a postage price. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Cindy, Welcome to ebid, if you weigh the item and then go into royal mail web site you can get a price for postage costs to America. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that, I only used to knit as a hobby so setting up stores is some thing completely alien to me, my old brain can't take it all in!!!

    Hiya and welcome Cindy

I love to see babies in hand knitted cardys etc. I used to knit for mine when they were little and loved the knitted crossover vests ( was a very old pattern from my Gran)

Thanks for looking at my shop, I hope to add new items each week, I have just opened a google checkout account, having read a few comments on the forum it looks like this is a very popular way to pay. Am going to re-list all my items this week and include overseas postage, then hopefully it will happen!! mind you not really the right time of the year to buy knitwear from Cindy

    HI and welcome,
you have some lovely items - I hope you do very well here
I don't think you'll have to relist all your items to make the changes, I think you can just edit.
I'm a bit new to the store thing too.

Hi everyone, Thought I would share this find with you all, I was browsing for a wholesale supplier for buttons and trimmings and came across this site. Placed an order and am well pleased. Was reluctant at first because they do not have paypal etc. and had to do payment transaction over the phone. They telephone you to complete the order and let you know everything is in stock. There is a flat rate postage of £7.00 but it is worth it if you are bulk buying items, very pleased with my purchases. click below and see what you think

Hi Cindy - they certainly have an extensive range; I'm always interested in reliable haberdashers, as I sometimes use ribbons and buttons in my jewellery.

Thanks for the recommendation - your knitwear is adorable btw !

    Best wishes for happy eBidding,

    Cru
