    Unhappy Lamp Parts and Lamps

I have been selling my inventory of 20 years of lamp parts. On the other site there and had a good following. I am keeping all oth those customer informed, but still have not sold anything here. Have been on for over a month now. Sure hope to see more buyers, there seem to be a lot of sellers coming over. Have requested a new category for lamp parts, but guess there is not that much need. I would sure hate to go back, but I do need the income!!

Welcome to eBid and good luck.

I looked at some of your listings. I would want to know how much postage was going to be before bidding. If you are going to add $2.00 that might make it more than I was willing to pay.

You also have a link to your Activa store which has links to another auction site. I think this might cause you problems if someone reported it.

You also have the other site in your listings, this is in bad taste if not illegal.

These comments are just to help you do better here. It is not to discourage you. Stick around and I'm sure you will have some sales.

How about making the items available outside US? The more people that look the better chance of making a sale.

If you need any help just ask and someone will have the answers. We are all trying to make this a great place to do business.

As I noted elsewhere, I've sold lots of lamp parts, chimneys etc. It's been one of my best categories (in terms of STR). You have to wait a bit while buyers discover where you are but I've found prices have been very good for good quality items. Check my feedback, the last item (I'm at 441 today) is for a Victorian lamp fount. I'll be listing more stuff as soon as I get a chance.

BarbsLamps, you have many of your items listed with the 'featured' upgrade for which there will be a fee. If you've done this by mistake I suggest you contact admin and request a refund. I've never done this myself but there are plenty of threads here mentioning that it is possible.
