    Default Promoting ebid.

I would be very happy to give a small amount of money, around £10 to enable ebid to advertise on TV or radio. This is just my 'cry for help' as a collector and hobbyist seller. I really do not want this area of the internet market to just 'fade away'. Any one else? Thank you, Mary.

    Mary,

This has been proposed a hundred times - it isn't practical. However, please invest your time, rather than your money in promoting ebid. If you visit the promoting your store forum you will find dozens of ideas. If you buy or sell on the dark side, tell those you trade with. If you are seller+ wear your T-shirt. Tell all your friends..etc..

I really must ask for my t-shirt. I agree, tv ads are a waste of time.

Most people don't watch them and use them as a natural break in the programs they are watching to go do other things. Every package I send out has eBid plastered all over the advice notes. I've got to think of something else as well.

I use eBid tape instead of parcel tape.

Hi Lesley, With the buddy points that you have saved you use them just like money to bid on the special buddy point auctions. You can find these auctions either from your eBid page buddy points section or just type in ebid in the search box above. If you win a buddy points auction eBid will automatically deduct the buddy points that you owe from your buddy points account, you don't have to do anything, so it is quite simple. Hope this helps.
