Book dealers can you help please...

Bought this book last weekend, not sure where to advertise it or how much to ask, done a bit of research on author - very famous man - but can't find any comparable books

In Search of South Africa by H.V.Morton, c1948. HB. It's signed and numbered (no. 444 of limited edition of 500). It has a cardboard slipcase.

Overall, I'd say it was in vgc.

Any help would be appreciated

Don't forget that the prices quoted on book sites are for UNSOLD items and are not necessarily a guide to true value!

H V Morton In Search of....books are very very common, usually priced at around £5-10. I don't bother listing them at all, they go in with the wholesale books for face to face selling or online with someone who has space to keep them for a while.

Have had another look, and the cheapest signed/numbered copy I've seen so far is £55, the most expensive about £125.

I realise it's only worth what someone is willing to pay but I'm tempted to try for £70 Would list it on eBid of course, nothing to lose
