Funny these promotions. I bought the gold seller in 2006 and the price hasn't changed.

I wonder if the US price will go up when US ebay users start getting suspended instead of preying on the UK sellers.

you bought the gold seller during a promotion in 2006 so companies only ever have one promotion ????????????

it`s been that price for the last couple of months as all the prices have been dropped to cater for the new sellers ,

i do so hope your not a business seller has you obviously do not understand how promotions work

the actual price is a hell of a lot more than what the offer is now for all countries

Well I paid the full price when I joined of about £99. So I think the special promotion is a bargain and grab it while you can.

Of course offering a lower price to new countries is good business sense. It will benefit us all when we start to get more international sales. I'm all for it and don't feel hard done by at all as hopefully my own sales will rise because of it !

dont forget if you listed about 30 items on the other side once a week how much would that cost you over your life time so £49.99 is a bargain grab it while you can

I actually paid $79.99 when I joined up 1st February - 2 days later the offer was $49.99 - Am I moaning? NO! Do I feel cheated? NO!
If I was still 'over there' I would have forked out $79.75 for 5 months store subscription plus at least another $260 in listing fees (for store) plus at least another $200 for auction fees - that makes a whopping $539.75 for 5 months fees 'over there'. Plus I'd still be paying even when items don't sell - over here on eBid, I pay nothing until I sell.
