Hi Anyone know what this ugly oarnament would be called.
Rough value if possible.

There is a 123 & 23 to the under base.

I am sorry but i am not really much help.
It would be nice if it was majolica but it looks all shiny and new.
Reminds me of a foo dog.

It is shiny, they were dirty as heck when I got them, give them a scrub & polish.
Will have a read up on foo dogs.

The first thing that comes to mind is that its of an asian influence. Ive seen these dogs in asian designs....but I don't know what theyre called. Someone above mentioned it perhaps? I'm not sure.
But, its so ugly its cute

they are foo dogs.... but the mass produced for the tourist trade... from the looks of them they date from 60's to present... but don't quote me on the dates

It's a dog of Foo or Fo - Chinese - different styles date from different times but they are in pairs.
