Coming from Feepay to eBid.

OP I got the same feel for ebid as you have, it is a friendly place to be. Sales are starting to happen and I predict a few more happening in the next few weeks

I came over here nearly 2 years ago. Kept up selling over there too, but that is dead at the minute (started dying around a month ago). I have 4 times the listings here now. I used to run around 600 - 700 over there, its down to 300 and falling. Here I have started listing again and will build up to 5000 plus here. The more listings and the greater the variety we have on ebid = more chance of attracting buyers.

I came from eBay too, but I kept my business there as well, after all, eBay does still get lots of traffic and sales. It's great to try a new site but rather then move my business completely, I see it as an addition to my sales on other sites. I don't, though, buy from sellers who call eBay 'feebay" or complain on other sites about it, because it did and will provide lots of good sales. Since they do have the most traffic, the fees, I think, are reasonable. Good luck with your sales and welcome again !

It is true. eb*y have millions of users, whereas, unfortunately, eBid is dealing in thousands, but getting bigger by the day! Thanks mainly to eb*y and its fees etc....

Well I don't think evilBay's fees are reasonable, for the simple reason that I can't afford to list there because of them. If they're forcing people off the site because they'll make a loss if they list, then I can't see how the fees are reasonable.

You have clearly never tried to sell lower value heavy items such as books on there.

Hi All,
Just wanted to say Hi to everyone on here....
Have been on "feebay" on and off for years and like most on here am sick of increasing fees etc....
Have been watching ebid for a while now and tonight finally took the plunge and signed up...
Will be setting up my auctions over the weekend so feel free to stop by and have a browse.
I think this site will will be an increasingly bigger thorn in a certain sites side...very soon!!!
