Hello,
Can anyone tell me what this is and possible date, value?
It has an Arthur Woods stamp on the back, but that's all I can find out!!
It appears to be hand painted.
Many Thanks
Debbie

How big is it? Any damage?
the mark shows its from 1954 onwards... cant help on value tho
Thank you Bluefincircle and Somersethedge,
It is 14 cm high and has a small chip underneath next to the back stamp, you can just see it on the picture(on the central raised bit) Other than that it is chip and crack free, but does have some sort of faint crazing.
Best Wishes
Debbie
crazing is normal on this type of item (it was made for the masses). by the same token because there are a lot of them around I am afraid the chip all but makes it worthless (sorry )
its from the art deco period 1920/30,
not a rare item, but even with the chip, ( not visible when on display ) its still worth arround £10 to £15
