Just finished Diarmaid MacCulloch's Thomas Cromwell: A Revolutionary Life. I was pleasantly surprised by how readable it was. It staved off the pangs while awaiting Mantel's endlessly delayed Mirror and the Light.

I dared to open a box of books that has been sealed since Nov 2012.
I've rediscovered books that I forgot that I owned!

Just started Tombland by C J Sansom. I've read all of his previous books, a fantastic read.
