Still struggling through book 2, not really any better, it's repetitive, very little is actually happening. I've got about 100 pages to go.
I'm pretty indifferent to most of the characters, but somehow it also has that strange compelling quality, that makes me want to finish it.

I will read book 3, as I've got it.

This is the first Robin Hobb Series I've ever read, if I didn't already own some of her others it would have probably been my last.
As it is I think I'll read the first books, of those, then decide whether to complete the sets or not.

I Re-Read I Am Legend again. I have to read it about 1 Time a year for the last 30 years, just my favorite book of all time(excellent).

If you have seen the movie I Am Legend With Will Smith then you should really read the book, the movie really has nothing to do with the book other then the characters name and like I said the Book is excellent

Finished book 3 of the Soldier Son Trilogy by Robin Hobb "Renegade Magic", it was the best of the three by far. If only the first two had been more like that one.

Think I'll read Stowaway to Mars by John Beynon (aka John Wyndham), next I'd imagine it's pretty dated as the copyright says 1935. I can't remember if I've read it before or not, if I did it was at least 25 years ago.

If I came across a copy of the the 3rd book, would it matter if I never read the 2nd? I didn't think much of book 1, but if 3's back on form I could skip ahead!

Now reading '9 Dragons' by Michael Connelly and 'Prow Beast' by Robert Low.
For Historical fiction fans I can highly recommend the Robert Low series, 'Prow Beast' is the fourth. Great Viking series.
Among the books on the TBR pile is Stephen Hunt's new one, 'Secrets Of The Fire Sea'.
Anybody else read Stephen Hunt? I seem to be the only one.

    Possibly,
I think 3 recaps/explains enough to fill in the blanks

Found a pile of about 2 dozen Harold Robbins at the bottom of a cupboard - starting with The Dream Merchants - haven't read them for years....
