Finished the Nuns Tale now, of the 3 Owen Archer Mysteries I read, I think Lady Chapel was the best, but for me they're not keepers.
Since then I've read 2 Anne McCaffrey's
No One Noticed the Cat, which was for youngsters really so not sure if I'll keep it or not, & volume 4 in her The Tower & the Hive Series, Lyon's Pride, that one is definitely a keeper.
I finished Agatha Raisin & The Vicious Vet, a couple of hours ago, another to add to my "To List Mountain"
Now I've the pleasure of deciding what to start next.

I've got to add Somebody's Husband, Somebody's Son by Gordon Burn to my recommended list of non-fiction.
Tells the story surrounding Peter Sutcliffe (Yorkshire Ripper for those that ain't old enough to remember) focusing very much on his background and family life in the early years. It then takes you through the years of his crimes, the trial and the effects left on the survivors of the attacks, their families and his own family.
Disturbing, but not in any way that it focuses on the details of the attacks but how everyday his life was (although slightly curious) and making you realise how you can have a murderer in the family and never really suspect.

Anybody read the Stephen Hunt SF/fantasy books? Just finished the third one, 'The Rise Of The Iron Moon' and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Fourth is due out soon. Hooray!
They're a sort of Victorian SF, with steam men, wicked empires and lots of action.

A bit of feedback for those who kindly gave me some ideas for fantasy authors that my OH might like. The recommendations are working out well - he has just whacked his way through the Trudy Canavan Magician trilogy and really enjoyed reading it and he is definitely now hooked on L.E Modesitt Jnr! Thanks all!!
I'm reading "10 years on"...set in the year 2020...it sets out what Britain might be like 10 years on from leaving the EU.
I'm also reading Brigitte Gabriel's "They Must Be Stopped" about the growth and spread of Islamification.
Has anyone read "Drowning Ruth" by Christina Schwarz? Just finished it, this is author's first book and it is fantastic. A bit of mystery, that leaves ya hanging until the very end. Set in 1910 Wisconsin. Very well written, I read it in two big gulps.
