Well the Stephanie Meyer books are quite good. I see why they are so popular. Good writing, good plots, keeps you turning the page, interesting premises. If you don't mind a bit of fantasy mixed with some young adult romance (first crush/first love, and all that) ......

I have just started reading Paul O'Grady's autobiography.

Already learned something new while reading it.

Apparently, it was fashionable in the 60's for people to have all their teeth removed and have dentures instead

I read about a book a day. Right now I'm reading book two of the Dean Koontz's Frankenstein trilogy. It's entertaining and ... dang, my train of thought just left the station without me! Anyhow, it's good.
I have new listings! Check them out!

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.
Fed up with paying to sell?

I have just finished my 2nd Patricia Wentworth: The Traveller Returns. I am getting on her wavelength and managed to figure out who the bady was before it was revealed. Now I am reading The Chief Inspector's Daughter by Sheila Radley

Glad to see you're enjoying the Wentworths.

I'm reading The Sea Mystery, by Freeman Wills Crofts. Crofts is one of the old, classic whodunnit writers, but for some reason I've never given him a proper look. Putting that right now.

I have just finished 'Bubbles Unbound' one of the american cozy crime books. Fun and easy to read. Just started 'The Friday Night Knitting Club' by Kate Jacobs. So far so good, but no decision reached yet

I'm reading a rare, for me, non-fiction. Hardly ever do it. This is the Zimmermann Telegraph, all about how the US came into the First World War. Fascinating so far.

I'm reading one of my old PULPS - Fever Heat, by Angus Vicker.

it took me a long time to find a copy, and it cost me a pretty penny.
More than I've ever spent on a book before, and pretty close to some of my more pricey singles!.

Anyway - I started it yesterday, and am about half way through it. I really don't know whether I want to sell it when I have finshed it or not. I doubt whether I'd find another copy again.

For those who aren't fussy about filtering what I sell - Take a look at ALL my stuff above. - But for more specific listings, take a peek in the stores below.

TOY-PALLOI - For all sorts of traditional playthings!

THE PAPERBOYS PLEASURE - For Books & Magazines

    OUT ON THE FLOOR - For Records - (mainly 1950's - 60's)

    VIEWPOINT - Photographic Equipment

THE SCRAPYARD - Spare parts for old cars and bikes

Last Shop Standing Whatever happened to Record Shops? by Graham Jones

Absolutely brilliant, full of stories and anecdotes from independant record shops that are still left open in the UK.

Includes a list of shops that have closed, sadly includes my own.
