Into Clive Cussler at the Moment - reading The Lost City
Nearly finished and will have a choice between more Cussler or James Patterson or Fearless Fourteen from Janet Evanovich.
Think it will be time for a lighter read with Evanovich

I am reading Die Katze, die Brahms spielte (the cat who played Brahms) This is my 1st translated cat who.... book and I am pleasantly surprised how well the translation works.
Just got back from Mother-in law. I took a book from one of the shelves and half the content was on the floor, so I had a sort out. Does anyone like reading Tom Sharpe, Ed McBain, P.D.James or John D. MacDonald? If anyone is interested drop me a line. The sooner they leave here the better, as this was only the 1st shelf I sifted through
I finished them both last week.
I enjoyed the Miss Silver, but expected her to play a bigger part in the book than she did.
Maybe the one I read wasn't the best example, it was Grey Mask.
I enjoyed Agatha Raisin & the Quiche of Death as well, lighthearted & an easy read, without being too silly.
As I said before not my favourite genre, I'd read more of either author, but they come under my read & sell, not read & keep category.
Back to Anne McCaffrey now.

I have just finished a Perry Mason - The case of the perjured parrot. It's been years since I read one of those and I did thoroughly enjoy this.
I have just started Swing,Brother, Swing by Ngaio Marsh. I think I have read this before but this is one writer I am happy to read again. I also had 2 Patricia Wentworth arrive today. They'll be the next in line for reading
I'm reading Verity Red's Diary...a dead funny book written as a diary of someone with M.E.
Then I will be reading something slightly more serious

Rereading A Miss Silver: Ladies' Bane. A little gentility before I try one of the pile of Craig Thomas books I was given.
