Finished the main story in Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder, and now on to the novella. I was in two minds about bothering with the novella, but might as well. The main story was pleasant enough, but I felt it never picked up pace as a mystery, and to be honest all the cookies got on my wick a bit. Perhaps because I can't use the recipes. So light, fun, and I'll probably read others if I pick them up along the way at boot fairs, but not a "must read" for me. Which is exactly how I felt after reading Agatha Raisin. I think the Cat Who books are just at my limit of lightweightedness (I just made that one up!) and these are a little over my personal line. I need a bit more mystery and just slightly less frivol.

Started reading The Thirteenth Tale a couple of nights ago and I'm really enjoying it. Not usually the sort of book I go for, but I'm so glad I did

I just finished the cat that went into the closet. That was great fun. As to the next one, I think it will be a matter of closing my eyes and pick one, as there is a lot to choose from

It's a bit like that with me, now got 4 piles of books on my floor and that's without counting the books on my bookshelves and in other rooms!
