What book are you reading at the moment

I have just started tor re-read M.M. Kay's 'Death in...' series. Still find them very gripping

Now reading The Falcons of Montabard by Elizabeth Chadwick, just lurve her books

Finished reading The Shack by William Young recently - very interesting book.

Still reading The White Lioness at the moment, but Keeping Their Place has arrived so that's next on the list.

"Jane Boleyn" by Julia Fox is finished, what a disappointment that was, too much like a novel, too much in the way of putting opinions and feelings into people that she couldn't possibly have known anything about, and nothing new that hasn't been in a hundred books before. I don't know whether to add it to my collection (pretty cover and all that) or to list it .

I've also read "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd, that only took me a couple of days, I needed to know what happened so ended up staying up to finish it one night, it's very good.

Now on to "Legend" by David Gemmell. One of my online friends recommended him a very long time ago, and I've collected loads of his books over the last couple of years, time to start reading them.

Just finished The Falcons of Montabard and now about to embark on a Barbara Erskine one called Daughters of Fire

Started Mr. Toppit by Charles Elton. Was half way through before I could put it down. So well written! This is the story about a boy who grew up in the limelight as his father had written children's books that featured *him*. The story is told as though we know all about him, so there are little mysteries along the way that you have to wait to hear all about. Great fun.

I`m reading two at the moment because the Carrie Fisher "Best awful"one i started really overdoses on the self obsession and is a bit much to take, although i am persevering because she does have some interesting insights.So keep dipping into 'SNL the first twenty years" for fresh air.
