So, I have finished Ten Big Ones by Janet Evanovich and must say it was a bit more serious than some of the previous ones and it didn't have any 'laugh out loud' moments. Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed it

Now on to something I have been saving and am really looking forward to - Nothing to Lose by lee Child. I picked up a copy from our library bus and my daughter has already read it and I have sworn her to secrecy - my other daughter is about to start that copy and willl probably finish it way before I finish mine so i will be wearing ear muffs for the next week

I'm reading Tempest, the third book from the Star Wars Legacy of the Force series. I do enjoy the Star Wars novels

I have never been able to get into Sci-fi at all - or for that matter any other genre except thrillers and crime/mystery stuff.

I blame reading to many Enid Blyton books when I was a kid , oh and then moving on to Agatha Christie in my teens

I've never been into sci-fi either, but love Agatha Christie too
At the moment I'm reading Bess of Hardwick by Mary S Lovell. It's a brilliant read and reads very easily

I was another teenage Christie reader, but I did read a heap of science fiction and fantasy too. The whodunits proved more enduring and while I still enjoy an occasional SF genteel crime is still my favourite. I'm currently working my way through whatever "Cat Who" books I can lay my hands on... it's all that KLJ's fault!

Now see there Kimbo, worked out fine for you. Everyone needs at least one good healthy addiction.

I just finished reading Cliffhanger - new book out by T J Middleton. So good. Starts out with the main character deciding to push his wife off a cliff - he starts an argument with her, knowing she will storm out, then he runs out himself going where he knows she will be and is amazed at how easy it was to push her off the cliff - no struggle, no screaming, nothing, just gone. He goes home..... and there is his wife sitting by the fire asking if he would like some wine.
He has no idea who he has pushed off the cliff. That's the first couple of pages.
