Default Get rid of the 'Run Until Sold' option

Definatly NO it is a good idea to keep this option as you only need to list the item once - its a great option to have

Hi Angie, and welcome aboard! 'Run until sold' is just what it says....putting an item in your store, marking it run until sold, and it will sit there til it does!! Most of the almost 500 items I have in my three stores are exactly that, but occasionally I'll put something up 'at auction'...

By the way, be sure to put a link to your little corner of the world in your signature here at the forums...that way we can visit and see whatcha got to offer...I'm interested!!

If you sell strange stuff like I do then its a must!! I run all my auctions that way, and would only list stuff as standard auction format if there where lots of other people doing the same as me. It has its place and should not be touched, choice is everything and been able to be flexible how you list stuff is one of Ebids strong points

Thank you all for replying and for voting. Looks like the overall Run 'til Sold is very much wanted and is here to stay. I agree this is favourable for the seller but also agree there should be some kind of signing on period so the items doesn't become dormant and waste everyone's time.

Good luck to you all and i hope the moderator takes note of the above..

I agree that the "run until sold" is a nice feature. But there should be some policing of sellers who list and walk away. From a buyers standpoint this is not good for eBid's reputation. If a buyer buys an item and then the seller is a "no show" it puts eBid in a bad light. A buyer may decide never to shop here again.

I am a newbie to and I agree that its about choice and I guess I personally hold down a job I do check my ebids as often as possible hoping and praying that something is sold---but when I am busy its good to know that my listing is still sitting there

The run until sold function really sets ebid apart from the other side in my opinion, and is also a great opportunity for those for whom the £28/month on the river is not economically viable.

I am only new here - but I do like this option for my items.

There is now a mini-mall all of its own with several different departments from you to browse through and choose the items you would like to purchase.
