eBid and China - blocked?

On Pheebay this morning thepatchdog is telling us they can't access eBid from China - is there a restriction or limitation imposed by eBid or by China which could be blocking access?

Is there a way around it or is it some kind of glitch.

There may be an answer I've missed in the forums here, if so, please can someone point me at it.

China regularly restricts access to many Western websites. If that IS what is happening here, then there is nothing that can be done about it.

I wondered whther it might be that China is blocking the US eBid and not the rest or if there is a ban on China from the US eBid side of the site.

Must admit it has me baffled.
