    hi ken
that wont do we are moving house in a few months (down sizeing) and i need to sell things not buy them. i have put 2 bears on ebid if they dont sell i will just have to go back to ebay. and pay the fees. i dont mind so much if they sell but it kills me if they dont and you still have to pay the listing fees

speaking as a buyer, I have just been ripped off by a zero F/B newbie,

as I do want to help them get a start,
but this one has been A DELIBERATE SCAM,
THE LISTING SHOWED p/pal, pppay. pppay escrow, all the buttons they on the invoice aswell as the listing.

but I got fobbed off with lies when I WANTED TO USE ESCROW,
like I PUT IT THERE BY MISTAKE, not my fault, etc,

ended up paying with paypal, just over £150.00, then I gets more lies,

new account, not verified cant accept payment, FROM P/PAL
    EMAIL from seller getting verified,

I ask P/PAL to reclaim my money, cant, ACCOUNT IS ON HOLD,

now after asking the seller to refund, more lies, pc, down,
kid taken to hospital with measles, couldn`t phone all info on broken down pc,

so after two weeks its now a paypal claim, the seller is not responding to,

my money will be returned, either by p/pal or my cc,

speaking as a seller, 33 feedback,

I have a newbie zero f/b bidding on my laptop,

its over £120.00, TO WIN, reserve not yet reached,

what do think I should do, cancel his bid before he ups it,

leave it as he may not bid more,

cancel his bid because hes just p***ing me about,

this doesn`t just happen on ebid, as its been stated,

you chance all the above, and more, when YOU CHOOSE to sell or buy on the internet,

    have a nice day,

regarding your laptop you dont post it till you get payed so what is the problem? i have payed for things and never receved them on ebay but ppal returned the money so i never lost out you get messed obout a bit but in the end you get your money back. everone has to start some were its just unfortunate that all newbies ( zero feedbacks ) are not trusted i had a few people who had zero feedback bid on my bears but i had no problem with payments so its up to the sellers what they do ? but remember you were a newbie with zero feedback once?

I like to treat newbies well, as I remember being one, TWICE,

    overthere, and overhere,

but this is the state of play, so far,

the bidder on the laptop, SCAMMER, part of address is INDIA,

    struck out before auction finished,

newbie seller, took £157.00 for item they did not have,

    paid with paypal, on CC,

filed for NONE DELIVERY,, SELLERS ACCOUNT, ON HOLD,

Paypal pay up, SHORT, ebid struck off seller,

who escapes with some of my money,

so what have I had of late,

2 newbies, sorry, dickheads, theives, lowest of the low,

    Evacuees , from Ebay,

ever feel your being ground down,

It's very difficult to sell stuff on eBid or any other auction site. Especially if you have just joined after many years at the other place.
Oh, sure, it's free listing, free this, free that, free the other but while there is this zero tag round my neck, I'm not to be trusted.
The thing is, I'm not blaming people for being wary. I would hesitate to buy expensive items from a newly registered seller.
At the moment, I'm selling a few bits of cheap stuff in the hope that it will sell and get my foot in the door, sort of thing. BTW, when I say "Cheap", I mean Low priced, NOT crap, lol.
There doesn't seem much point in starting to sell my usual range of PC and laptop stuff until I have built up a modicum of trust.

While I'm here, can anyone point me at the place I need to go to get my auctions in a sig on these posts?
    Ta very much.

OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 On the feedback front, perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here ( I have some nice cheap prints ) also have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the lack of feedback problem when I started.
